Joan Phillips

Joan Phillips - Trustee

Joan's family joined St. Mary’s in 1998, and she has been a trustee since 2003. Joan and her husband, Dean, have two young adult sons, Eric, and Adam, who went through the school. She is a partner at Deloitte and a graduate of Marquette University. In addition to being a trustee, she is a lector.


Lou Yaeger

Peter Foy - Trustee

Pete has been a member of St. Mary’s Parish since 2005.  He has been a past member of the Pastoral Council and has also been involved in the Human Concerns Committee, as a Eucharistic Steward and in visiting the homebound.  Pete and his wife, Lezlee, can usually be seen at the 8:00 a.m. Sunday Mass.  Pete has worked for FIS and its predecessors (Metavante and M&I Data Services) for 23 years.







John Nygaard - Chairman

 John and Jenny have been members of St. Mary Parish since 2013. They have three children, Brooklyn, Justin and Graeme. The Nygaard family has come to love many events and activities at the parish and school including all school Masses, Trivia nights, Annual golf outing, Catholic Schools week, Adoration, Soles walk and of course, Feastable. John and his family enjoy and treasure the fellowship and community they share with friends and family at these events. John is a member of the Men of Christ leadership team for St. Mary Parish. He and his wife are involved in Discipleship ministry and volunteer for various committees for the Parish and School. Most weekends John, Jenny and their three kids can be seen at the 10:30 am Mass. John works at Wisconsin Pharmacal in Jackson

Lance Tappa

Lance Tappa - Vice Chairman

Lance and his wife Angie have been members of St. Mary's since 2010. Before that, they were members at St. James for 12 years. They have three boys, Logan (12) Carson (9) and Ben (7).  Lance & Angie are active members of the Parish and are involved in various ministries at Church and in the community. They are a FOCCUS couple for both St. Mary's and St. James and are a team couple for Engaged Encounter weekend retreats. Lance is a Knights of Columbus member, Eucharist Minister, Wednesday morning Men's Group advocate and a member of the new Evangelization committee. They enjoy spending time with family and friends and can be seen (and heard!) at 8:00 a.m, Mass on Sunday's. Lance works at FIS Global, and Angie works here at St. Mary Parish as the Financial Assistant.


David Pittman - Secretary and ACP Rep

Dave has been a member of St. Mary’s since 1980.  He and his wife, Michele, were married at St. Mary’s in 2005.  They have three children, Olivia, Zachary and Abigail.  Dave is involved in the Usher, RCIA, and Young Adult Core Group Ministries, and is a Knight of Columbus.  Dave is project manager with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, and Michele is a receptionist and a stay at home mom. 

Mike Krawczyk

Mike Kawczyk 

Mike has been a member of St Mary parish for 34 years and is married to his wife Jan for 41 years. Mike and Jan have two grown children Mark and Carol. Mike had been an usher for 15 years; he is currently a minister to the homebound for 20 years, a member of the Human Concerns committee for ten plus years. Mike has videotaped the Mass for the homebound for 25 years; he has also helped out with the St Ben’s meal program for the past six years. He is also a new member of the do Dads and an assistant boy's 5th-grade basketball coach with St Mary. Mike is a member of the Knight of Columbus for 20 plus years. Mike is a graduate from UW-Platteville 1974 and is a retired engineer although he stays very active as a part-time instructor for WCTC, a part-time employee with the Milwaukee Brewers and a volunteer with AlexianVillage.



Tony Morgan - Finance Council Liaison

Tony and his wife Carmen have been members of St. Mary’s Parish since 2015 after they moved to Menomonee Falls from Bangor, Maine.  Before that they were members of St. John the Apostle Parish in Bangor for 10 years.  Tony completed the RCIA program in 2008 back in Maine.  Both Tony and Carmen have been active in Theology of the Body and Natural Family Planning Ministries.  Carmen is currently working on a TOB Certification Program.  They have 5 children, AJ, Greg, Sean, Matt, and Sarah who all attend St. Mary’s School.  Both Tony and Carmen are active in the Discipleship Ministry as well as working with the Burmese.  Both have enjoyed getting to know the St. Mary’s community in their time here and look forward to continuing to being active and using God’s gifts to help the Parish and Community.  You can find them most weekends at the 10:30 Mass taking up their own row with 3 red haired children that are hard to miss.  Tony works for R&R Insurance locally in Menomonee Falls and also serves on the Board of Directors for the Tri-County YMCA.  Carmen is an ICU nurse for Frodtert but is involved is many activities throughout the parish.

 Andrew Schmelzer - School Committee Liaison

 Andy and his wife, Maria, have been members of St. Mary’s since 2013.  Prior to that they were members of St. Boniface where their two children, Erin and Andrew, Jr. (Drew) were baptized.  Both Erin and Drew attend St. Mary’s.   Andy and Maria are active members in the parish.  Andy chairs the Golf Outing and Maria chairs the Holiday Bazaar and recently served on the Home and School Committee. Their whole family enjoys involvement with various other ministries/groups/activities within the parish.  You will see them at Saturday evening or Sunday 10:30 Mass.  Maria is a stay at home mom/volunteer at the parish/school. Andy is a shareholder at Lakes Business Group in Waukesha.

 Sally Purcell

 Sally Purcell - Stewardship Committee Liaison

Sally joined the St. Mary's family, with her husband Dave, in 1997.  She was confirmed in 1999
through the RCIA program...this was life changing!  Since then, their daughters, Katie, and Sami have followed suit in receiving their sacraments and attending Christian Formation.  Sally has taught 7th grade Christian Formation for five years and enjoys youth rallies, serving our community with her students and plans on attending another mission trip. Sally is passionate about her daytime job, working with middle schoolers with special needs in the Hamilton school district.          


Holly Clanton - Human Concerns Liaison

Rebecca's parents joined the parish in 2001 with her and her older brother, Aaron. The next year her younger brother, Joseph, was baptized at St. Mary.  She went through the parish school and graduated in 2014. Rebecca is now a senior at Pius XI Catholic High School. She is an active member of the Cantate Domino Choir, cantors at St. Mary and is also a regular Mass server. You can usually find Rebecca at the 8:00 Mass or whichever Mass the choir sings at.
