Men's & Women's Groups
St. Anthony and St. Mary Parishioners are growing in faith and friendship through participation in our adult Faith Formation groups. Learn about the current options below:
- Men's Group | 7:30-9 PM on Mondays
Join us for a beer, formation and friendship. No preparation is needed and there is no cost – just come with an open heart. The group meets on Mondays from 7:30-9 pm at St. Anthony Parish in the school building (Chesterton Academy Commons).We will start this session with "That Man is You!" a program that harmonizes current social and medical science with the teachings of the Church and the wisdom of the saints to develop the vision of man fully alive!
- Women's Group | 6:30-8 PM on Tuesdays
Join us for beverages & light refreshments as we explore our faith. Tailored to the busy lives of women, no preparation is needed and there is no cost – just come with an open heart. The group meets on Tuesdays from 6:30-8 pm at St. Anthony Parish in the school building (Chesterton Academy Commons) We will start this session watching and discussing the 12-week Formed Series "The Bible and the Virgin Mary: Journey Through Scripture."
- Women’s Faith Study Group | 9:15-11 am on Fridays
The purpose of this group is to provide an opportunity for community and learning about the truths of our Faith. A new session of the Women's Faith Study Group will be starting on Sept. 22. Join us for "Beginning Apologetics 1: How to Explain and Defend the Catholic Faith." Please register by Sept. 11. Study books are $10.
- Well-Read Mom Group
Well-Read Mom accompanies women in the reading of great books and spiritual classics to encourage personal growth, friendship, and meaningful conversations in order to explore the human condition and reorient ourselves to what is good, beautiful, and true.
- School Moms Morning Praise
This group of mothers meet to discuss the Sunday gospel readings, with reflection questions in a relaxed atmosphere of support and fellowship. Meetings are usually held Wednesday mornings, 2-3 times a month. School parents are encouraged to be involved. Children are welcome.
