Preperation for First Holy Communion
Because Christ himself is present in the sacrament of the altar, he is to be honored with the worship of adoration. “To visit the Blessed Sacrament is…a proof of gratitude, an expression of love, and a duty of adoration toward Christ our Lord” (Pope Paul VI). Catechism of the Catholic Church, 1418
Eucharistic adoration takes place on Wednesdays immediately following the 8:15 am Mass until 6 pm.
Preparation for First Holy Communion
Children prepare to receive the Eucharist through Christian Formation or St. Mary School. Contact the Christian Formation office for details.
